I hope you have been enjoying the quick gift patterns I’ve designed lately. It’s been a long time since I’ve published a full pattern. As a homeschool mom of a middle schooler, I cherish the time I get to spend with my kid. But I haven’t had as much time as I expected to concentrate on a major design.

Well, it’s time for a new one! Introducing the Bandana Cowl! It’s shaped like a bandana, wears like a cowl, and stays on better than a shawl. It’s a piece you can add to any outfit, casual or dressy, and wear it easily and hassle-free all day. Pull it up when you get out in the cold and squash it down when you hit the warmth inside. It looks great both ways!

The Bandana Cowl is made using Chicken Lady Fiber Arts Chicken Muffin Taster Box. It’s so fun to try out Chicken Lady’s most popular bases side-by-side. And the Bandana Cowl lets each unique fiber shine!

You can also use a skein and a half of any DK yarn. If you have some DK minis or need a stashbuster, this is perfect! The pattern is written in 6 sections. Choose 6 DK minis or leftovers (the largest section uses about 30g) and use a different one for each section.
