Classes listed below are offered in the Jackson, MS area at the Bill Waller Craft Center in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Choose from these fun classes!

Introduction to Knitting Introduction to Knitting for those that want to learn the basics of knitting. The class is designed for individuals who have never knit before, or those who have forgotten and want to refresh their skills. The class will cover learning the knit stitch, the purl stitch as well as basic pattern comprehension.

Introduction to Crochet A quick class that will introduce basic stitches, chain, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch. We will begin two squares that can be used as washcloths or sew them together with other blocks to make a scarf or afghan.

Fixing Knitting Mistakes Dropped stitches? Wrong stitch count? Found a hole in your work? Don’t Panic! Learn basic skills to identify, troubleshoot, and repair your knitting mistakes like picking up dropped stitches, fixing mistakes on previous rows, and picking up after ripping out. We will use the book Knit Fix by Lisa Kartus. You can purchase a copy by clicking here.

Projects Class Advanced Beginners to Intermediate and Advanced Knitters and Crocheters come together for fun and instruction from Katie Clark! Learn a new technique, tackle a new project, or get expert advice. Bring any pattern or get recommendations for your next project.

Help Desk Dropped stitches? Lost your place in your pattern? Stitches look funny? Drop in on Tuesday afternoons for quick fixes and fast help from a knowledgeable instructor. For only $5 per 5 minutes, get the help and advice you need. For questions and repairs requiring 30 minutes or more, please schedule a private lesson with Katie.
